If you can fix it up and throw an ips display in there, new shell and buttons but that's the best this device is going to get. An

Somewhat related to this question, about six months ago I bought a mini e-ink reader that is the same size as a phone (Onyx Boox Palma) and it's been really good for my phone scrolling. Because I just take it with me pretty much anywhere I take my phone so I always have the option to read on e-ink.
