WM1 was the perfect size. I got a OneXPlayer G1 instead of a Win Max 2 because of the form factor and better screen. I don't like it anywhere near as much as my Win Max 2020, but at least it's more up to date.

I agree with you on the Onexplayer G1. Amazing device! I got it from Amazon to be safe. Onexplayer and GPD make good devices. I feel like the Onexpkayers have nicer looking screen. I also have a GPD Winmini 2024 that I got from Indigogo. It had an issue with the touchscreen. Gpd sent me a new screen

Where the same i really want a g1 my only issue im thinking long term what if my g1 broke in the future will the company fix my device even if out of warranty.. And battery life when just browsing there no info on this even reviewer on youtube didn't even bother testing it... I had the win mini 2025

I'd sell it in a hearbeat to get the onexplayer g1. But am in UK. Check out the onexplayer g1 if you haven't already. Its basically the max and mini in 1 device. Better screen, dual keyboard, one for laptop purposes, and removes for gaming controls and keyboard. 8.8 inch screen. Very good device!

So as for the smaller screen having to compromise I'd absolutely disagree. Yes it has a big battery but the bulk of that battery is externally. It only had a small part that goes in the wm3. As for compromise the onexplayer g1 has a 8.8" screen. Has oculink and has a whole keyboard that sits on top.

Different form factors, different screens, the difference between igpu and dgpu efficiency/ power. I love this laptop a lot it's probably my favorite laptop I've ever owned, it's an absolute monster. But I'm just trying to find the sweet spot myself for what I want in a PC setup, I've owned desktops

Also does anybody have any tips on how to make the screen look better? I’m sure it’s impossible but the whites just look so washed. I’m comparing it to the onexplayer G1 I had which isn’t fair obviously because that screen is bigger and has better resolution. But you can download apps to make the so
