So who's buying an OM-5 II and why? (Surprise: Me?)

I had just placed my preorder yesterday for the new sand beige version, I think it looks great. I’m actually coming over from the Fujifilm system and the X-S10. I’ve been eyeing OM system for a while now, super intrigued by its compact form factor, IPX rated weather sealing, and computational featur

Protection against water and dust

Hi, I work in an IP rating testing lab. IPX1 is laughable, but the reason it's rated like this is most likely only because they didn't bother with a higher tier certification. Om 5 mk ii vs om 3

My thought after reading some replies is that I probably pick up the om5. Then I think whats probably going to happen is I also will pick up an om1 mk whatever in a couple years. I guess it depends how much I like the system. To dip my toes in and have a "cheap" camera to take around with me I think

Advice requested for Panama rainy season.

Your setup is weather sealed, you should be fine. Just keep the lens on at all times unless in a controlled environment or clear weather. Your oldest's lens is weather sealed, but their camera is not, so it won't matter that the lens is sealed. I don't know how rainy this rainy season is, but if it'
