I have owned a camera from almost every system being produced but I always find myself drawn back to Olympus M43 cameras. I have a Fujifilm XH2S but I seem to prefer my Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III, to the point that I'm seriously considering selling my Fuji kit to get an OM-1. It's so sad how Olympus

honestly i agree with him, got an Olympus omd em5 mk2 recently and like its a cool camera but holding it is a bitch, like there's a reason we moved away from the stamped camera form factor

That camera doesn't exist. Pick one, maybe even two - interchangeable lens / weather sealed / pocketable. Every one of these will have some trade offs Olympus OM-D E-M5 Mark III / OM-5OM System TG-7Canon G1 X Mark III

My Olympus EM5 Mk III with the small 12-45mm F4 completely cracked at the base of the body, fell off the clip, and cracked the lens. Both camera and lens were toast. I did some more research and found that I was far from the only person to experience this. All of that being said, the PD clip is bull

I’m 20 fuckin 6 and shoot an almost 10 year old Olympus. But I’m happy shooting Oly because it has been my dream system since I was 13 and they’re just all around good cameras. I’ll have money for Big White and an E-M5 Ti one of these days.

Used Olympus OMD EM5 or EM10 series cameras. Check them out and see what you think. I travel a lot and have taken these cameras all over the world and they do me solid.

I truly hope—pray, even—that OM System’s next release won’t just be another rehash like the OM-1 Mark II. That camera, while fine on paper, was essentially a software update sold at full price, and it left many of us deeply disillusioned. I’m starting to lose hope in the brand. I’ve been using the E

On my Panasonic bodies, the Panasonic 20mm f1.7 is one of my favorite lenses on either m43 or e mount. On my Olympus body probably the 17mm. Why? Because the 20mm is slow AF on my e-m5 iii.

eeeh not sure about that. The Pen-F was released 10 years ago, not sure this was a marketing ploy to force you buying a camera they would release 9 years later. If anything they simply saw the Pen-F as a casual camera that would turn into a collectible (the marketing back in 2016 heavily played on h

Might also push the price of older cameras down. I'm not particularly keen on getting one of these entry level cameras, but I'd love to replace my E-M1 Mk1 with a newer Olympus body, they're not coming down in price at all though. An E-M1 Mk2 or E-M5 Mk2 costs basically the same as it did 5 years ag
