Advice requested for Panama rainy season.
Your setup is weather sealed, you should be fine. Just keep the lens on at all times unless in a controlled environment or clear weather. Your oldest's lens is weather sealed, but their camera is not, so it won't matter that the lens is sealed. I don't know how rainy this rainy season is, but if it'

Just got this E-M10 Mark IV! Super beginner here, any tips??
Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f5.0-6.3 IS Lens This lens was just to pricey for me and why i bought the 100-300ii. It was only $325. The 100-400 would have been twice that if not more. With that said I don't think it's too much lens, but it really depends on what you're trying to do. Most of

Panasonic lenses for OM-D E-M10 Mark IV
Hello, the lens of my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV broke for the second time. My lens was the Pancake 14-42mm. I heard that Panasonic lenses are compatible with Olympus. Which equivalent model of lenses would be compatible with my camera? Are they more reliable than the Olympus lenses?

It's M43 Monday! Ask Us Anything about Micro Four-Thirds Photography - all questions welcome!
I've just jumped into M43 to have the DSLR options I'm used to (with an APS-C DSLR) but in a more convenient size and weight. I initially ordered an E-M10 Mark IV but found it tiny and felt the construction was flimsy, particularly the port cover for the USB port and the door for the SD card and bat

First camera recommendation, is Olympus OM-D E-M10 mark IV good to get?
I don't consider it a good buy at all. It is what is called an "enthusiast" camera, so basically entry-level, and is lacking a lot of features you really want in a camera. As some basic FYI, it was released in August of 2020 and costs $700 new. So it is currently 5 years old. You can purchase a used

Upgrade
I would not call it a "huge" upgrade, you get a good stabilization and the new sensor, but you don't really get more functionalities as the EM10iv is shrunk down to keep it beginner friendly. You won't have full control of your camera. I would rather go for an EM5iii or OM5 to get all the Olympus fu

What is Micro Four Thirds missing in 2025?
Screen flips the wrong way Even my electric shaver uses USB C USB doesn't charge camera while on, and it's not USB PD rated. No phase detection* Uses "old" Olympus/OM System menu system *Some M4/3 users should try an entry level camera from other makers. Having IBIS won't make up the fact that modern
