Would you buy a Nook? Why or why not?
People avoid the Nook for a few reasons: Nooks are only available in the US. Technically you can use them outside the US, but you're likely to run into issues with actually purchasing things on it. They do, naturally, work outside the US for reading, but the actual process of buying books is US-cent

Nook Glowlight 4 Plus?
Yes, if you want a 7.8-inch black-and-white e-ink screen and to purchase, read, and move on to the next eBook, the NOOK GlowLight 4 Plus (2023) is perfect.** Crisp text, warm or cool light, and if you want to listen to any audiobooks you purchase from B&N, it has a 3.5mm audio jack or Bluetooth capa

Would you buy a Nook? Why or why not?
Great write-up. Despite a lot of drawbacks, the hardware is great especially if you enjoy pageturn buttons. I have NOOK, Kobo, Kindle and Boox devices and always grab my NOOK GlowLight 4 or 4 Plus to read.

Lenovo Frost Blue~I Love It!
It's probably not talked about a lot because it's just a Lenovo M9 Android tablet with the NOOK and Barnes & Noble brand engraved on the back. These devices were in the market almost 6-7 months before Barnes and Noble had Lenovo manufacturer some with the NOOK sticker on them. The screen resolution

Ocean Teal GL4
Agree with this. As a kindle user with the latest model paperwhite, I still prefer the nook glow light 4 hardware wise. The screen, buttons, and form factor is just superior. Barnes & Noble just tortures us with the horrendous software.

Coming back
I love my GlowLight 4! I mostly borrow books from the library. Setting up Adobe Digital Editions to get the epub files from libby onto my nook was a pain, but it was well worth the effort. I love the physical buttons and it's the perfect size for my bag and for the using on the commute

New Nook GlowLight 4 Color Incoming - Ocean Teal
They make it so hard to be ride or die for Nook. I have only ever had Nook and owned the very first one way back when. I know they said in 2026 we can expect the Glow Light 5 or whatever it's going to be, but tough to get excited about the same ereader that has been available for a long time and it'

Get my Nook Glowlight 4 Plus tomorrow!! SO EXCITED!!
If you converted your Amazon eBooks to EPUB, you should be able to connect the NOOK GlowLight 4 Plus to your computer with a USB cable and drag-and-drop the EPUBs onto the NOOK. Put the EPUBs in the "NOOK" folder. B&N does NOT give you a digital copy of your eBook. So you cannot "do the reverse" lik

Are there any benefits...
There is no benefit to having a NOOK over a Kindle eReader, even if the B&N is 5 minutes from you. The only benefit would be if you decide to sign up for a Barnes & Noble membership (there are 2 tiers: free and $40 paid) to earn stamps. You get 1 stamp for every $10 PRE-TAX spent on B&N items. When

New devices confirmed for 2026
Iâve always loved Barnes & Noble and have owned almost every version of nook theyâve ever released. I would normally be very excited about this announcement. But if they donât fix the software âproblemâ with the fonts I wonât be buying any more nooks. I have vision loss and havenât been able to use
