I cannot imagine that a font license removed Thicker or that the font now has a higher license for Thicker? H

Probably a meebook m8 is your best choice. If you're ok with a slower screen the Nook Glow Light 4 Plus becomes an option.

Kindle basic lacks warm light. even if you don’t need it it’s nicer to know that it’s there if you ever want it. Nook glowlight 4 has buttons, but i’ve heard of ppl getting locked out of their books unless you do a mandatory firmware update. kobo clara bw is your best bet, imo. i wish it had buttons
