New Nook GlowLight 4 Color Incoming - Ocean Teal
They make it so hard to be ride or die for Nook. I have only ever had Nook and owned the very first one way back when. I know they said in 2026 we can expect the Glow Light 5 or whatever it's going to be, but tough to get excited about the same ereader that has been available for a long time and it'

New devices confirmed for 2026
I’ve always loved Barnes & Noble and have owned almost every version of nook they’ve ever released. I would normally be very excited about this announcement. But if they don’t fix the software “problem” with the fonts I won’t be buying any more nooks. I have vision loss and haven’t been able to use

Boox Go7 Color (gen2) or a Nook Glowlight 4
I have the Go 7 BW. It takes some time to tweak it, but the benefit is that you can use any reading app, including the Barnes and Noble app. If you get a Glow light, then you're going to be locked in to BN, same as Kindle and Kobo. Edit: That being said, the Nook, Kobo, and Kindle are more plug and

Coming back
If you’re looking to get away from Amazon because it’s Amazon, that’s one way to do it. (But you still won’t find the books from KU on Nook.) If you don’t like what Amazon is doing with locking down their ebooks, be aware that B&N has been doing that with their books since 2014. So you won’t be help

Are there any benefits...
There is no benefit to having a NOOK over a Kindle eReader, even if the B&N is 5 minutes from you. The only benefit would be if you decide to sign up for a Barnes & Noble membership (there are 2 tiers: free and $40 paid) to earn stamps. You get 1 stamp for every $10 PRE-TAX spent on B&N items. When

Is it safe to use a magsafe adapter sticker on a Nook 4?
I use magsagfe popsockets and magnetic rings on mine just fine. The only thing that I would suggest is that you put the magnetic circle sticker on a case, not directly on the NOOK GlowLight 4 device. It flexes the casing every time I remove it and I am probably going to use goo-be-gone to try to rem

Storage on Teal Nook
There is no difference in software in the GlowLight 4 series (Black, Pink and Teal). They all have the limited 5 GB partition for sideloaded content. You'll also notice that the comparison table still lists BN's in-store Read for 1 Hour Free statement ("Read NOOK eBooks FREE on your NOOK for up to o

New NOOK Update Out
Stuff like this is why I haven't turned on Wi-Fi for over a year on my NOOK GlowLight 4 series, and why we keep older NOOKs around. What and who did it benefit, them removing Font Thickness? I cannot imagine that a font license removed Thicker or that the font now has a higher license for Thicker? H

8inch + reader recommendation for manga
Probably a meebook m8 is your best choice. If you're ok with a slower screen the Nook Glow Light 4 Plus becomes an option.

Kindle Basic 10th Gen vs Nook Glowlight 4
Kindle basic lacks warm light. even if you don’t need it it’s nicer to know that it’s there if you ever want it. Nook glowlight 4 has buttons, but i’ve heard of ppl getting locked out of their books unless you do a mandatory firmware update. kobo clara bw is your best bet, imo. i wish it had buttons
