Super Mario Galaxy 1+2 review: Despite pointer issues, this is still 3D platforming at its very best | VGC
The Switch 2 Joy Con shouldn't have the same issues the Switch 1's gyro has with the constant calibration and drifting. It's much more consistent in that regard. I've been playing Skyward Sword, World of Goo and Okami with it, and I've been requiring much less calibration than it did on Switch 1. Ho

Nintendo and their weird control restrictions, Been playing Galaxy 2 and the handheld tilting is such a pain on tough levels. Wish they'd just let us use mouse controls for single player too. At least the Joy-Con drift isn't as bad this time around.

Steam deck vs lenovo legion go (anyone of them) vs nintendo switch
I have been repeating this several times. The Switch 2 just works. People say: "Get a Steam Deck" but even though SteamOS is more streamlined than Windows, at the end of the day it is a PC, so you will be tweaking and tinkering with settings, adjustments, controller configurations. It is not a "just

The new Xbox Elite 3 and Cloud controllers has been leaked.
I’m sure that’s a fine controller but it can’t wake the Switch 2 from sleep which would make it a non starter for me, personally. Also, I haven’t tried one to test the vibration but I’m guessing at that price it isn’t anywhere near as good as what’s in first party Nintendo controllers. The jury is s

r/singapore random discussion and small questions thread for April 26, 2026
for gen 1 switch, the safest bet is to get the official Nintendo ones from a reputable shop like Shopee's Nintendo Official Store or GameMartz — they're pricier but you avoid compatibility issues entirely. if budget is a concern, look for ones labelled "HAC-015" (the model number for original Joy-Co

guys…where’s mouse mode?
It's a shooting game on the switch 2, where the joy-con comes built in with mouse functionality. Yes, they better actually make mouse mode possible. That's what mice are for in the context of video games. If Nintendo doesn't put mouse functionality in their biggest shooting game, why the hell did I

Is there a homebrew app that lets you remap your controls for every game, if you don't like the original ones?
Thanks for the detailed reply. I'm gonna conscientiously go through those steps for good measure, but I think it's the third party controller (Hori Split Pad Pro) not being compatible as the issue. I do recall KeyX working with the Joy-Con that it came with, after which is when I came across about r

Reliable Workaround Found for Switch Pro Controller Disconnects on Steam Deck
I can't believe it but it works in May 2026. Fuck Nintendo honestly. Named mine "Nintendo Deck", so only the Nintendo part is important as you described. Fixed disconnect issues on Pro Controller and Dual Joy-Cons. Incredible lol

TLOU2 with gyro with 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Bluetooth
You would need to use a program or adapter that emulates a DualShock 4 controller. I use an adapter on my Joy-Cons that has three modes. The first mode emulates a Nintendo Switch controller so I can use the gyroscope, the second emulates a generic controller, and the third emulates an Xbox 360 contr

Why didnt they make these able to charge with USB?
This is also the only official Nintendo Joy-Con with a D-pad, and though it looks goofy, you can play handheld with just the left controller in and the D-pad orients correctly, and it's much nicer to play the NES NSO games.
