Question: I'm about to buy my first camera and I have a question about Nikon colour science
If you go with Nikon, take a look at the Z5ii. It's cheaper than the Z6iii, and I suspect it would fit your needs. Spend the savings on a better lens.

Some of my favorites from Halloween Horror Nights 2025! 👻
Nikon Z6III, Tamron 28-75 f2.8 and the ultra wides is the Laowa 12mm f2.8. It was actually pretty difficult using the f2.8 zoom and I really regretted not bringing my 1.4 35mm and 50mm but still got some good photos!

How did you get into m43 system? What's your future plans with it?
I was a Sony APS-C shooter for a long time. From Sony NEX 5 to A6000 and to A6400. I loved my A6400 but the desire to move to full frame got the best of me and I sold my camera and lenses and was thinking of buying the Nikon Z6III. But after I sold everything I had second thoughts regarding the Niko

Which zoom lens should I buy - Nikon 180-600mm or Sony 200-600 mm?
Hey, since you're a beginner, I would advise you to go with Nikon. What I see people saying is repeating platitudes about Sony's "better af" but that is not useful by any means. Cause "af" is not a single parameter, plus: every system has different strong points for "getting a shot". Why I would adv

Wedding Togs, the Sigma Art 1.4 | 40mm or the 50mm?
I used to buy high end cameras. F5 then bypassed d100/d200/d300 and went straight to D3/D3s/D4/D4s. couldnt stand the look of the dx sensors. I was the last to hold out with film. I dont buy into hype and dont have any FOMO ever. I realized after buying a d750 to replace my d3s (was well over 600k c

Second Z8 or Wait
Im working my way to your setup tbh, currently with Z6iii and PF 800 and I’ve sold 70-200 I would wait for the new premium body after summer but I also hope for high resolution amateur body (deliberately castrated) that would suit me on the trail. Nikon is significantly behind every other mount now

Please help me choose my first camera?
Pick any body that's above $1000, and you'll be happy. Don't go crazy though, you'll want a good lens too. People always forget the lens when buying their first camera. They'll buy a brand-new Nikon z6iii and then slap a kit lens for $200 on it (it's the Z 40mm f/2, I can guarantee it). Don't do tha

Z6 iii or a7v
A7v, it's just better in all the right ways. Nikon has to hit back now, but it's gonna be at least another 18 months probably. Real talk, the A7v improves all the things photographers want. Just to elaborate, the A7V has: - An open mount - Smaller lenses, and more varied lenses, just as good if not

Nikon Z6III batterie & Viltrox incompatibles
The original Nikon battery is over-engineered to the requirements of the Z6II to support future cameras using the same battery pack. The Expeed 7 CPU and partially stacked sensor on the Z6III have much higher power drain under load than the Z6II has. This is why some third party batteries work fine

Thinking of getting Z5II, but I have couple of worries.
I think it’s much better but there’s a limit on how you can compare them. A7v worked great with 400-800, it’s probably more usable then z 180-600 but costs much more, even with z8 Nikon is cheaper and I’d say better. It’s not only recognition that’s better, also af-s doesn’t work great for flying bi
