Quick note since many of your points are video recording specific: Likely in a bid to split the capabilities of cameras, Nikon also made the ZR, which is basically a Z6iii with no viewfinder and some shaving off of camera features in exchange for loads of video specific features, including 3D LUT. Z5ii is the best camera under $2k and the z6iii is the best camera at the next price point up. Nikon struggled for a while, but Expeed 7 is the tits and now that they’ve got subject tracking autofocus nailed down, they are the most well-rounded brand.

The general reception of the Z6iii was very good. At the time (and maybe even now?) it's such an incredible bang-for-buck for what you get at the price. It's arguably the most capable hybrid mirrorless camera in it's price range, and it's not close; a workhorse for both hobbyists and professionals.
