I have a Z50 camera

I have the same camera and was thinking about the tamron 50-300 with etz adapter. (700€ + 100€) Alternatively the much bigger Tamron 50-400 (1000€) Keep in mind that the Z50 doesn't have IBIS, so you need a lens with stabilization . Kit Nikon DX 50-250 might also be an option, but in my experience i

About to buy the D850

I would not pay that. You can get a D850 used from MPB for $1,100-$1,700 all day, and they come with a 6 month warranty. The D850 IS a tank, and I would not hesitate to buy one of the cheaper "good" condition units over the pricier "like new" condition ones... especially as a hobbyist. You would be

D750 vs Z5

100% Z6 ... The only problem of this camera is the intelligent autofocus (Focus to the eye, tracking subject), but if you keep old school using the Focus points, the camera is amazing, same imagen cuality as a Z5II and better (more dinámic range) than Z6 III, profesional body (same as Z7 the top Nik

Avoid strapnstyles camera straps

I use the old strap from my D3100 on my Z6ii. The strap that came with the Z6 was junk. That and the strap that came with one of my big lenses. I'd like a nicer strap for my big lens, something a bit longer because it's a little short but to be honest it gets the job done. No idea why Nikon provided

Upgrade my gear from Nikon Z6II to Nikon Z8

EDIT: I READ YOUR POST AS Z63 not z62 haha. Ignore the below but I figured I'd keep it here because it took so long to write. IF you have the cash, and the need, the Z8 is a stupendous upgrade from the z6 II ---- I've owned the Z6iii (my main cam for quite a while!), I have a ZF (im selling), a ZR,

Anyone try z5 ii with Tamron 50-400mm? I had tested at Tamron showroom with Sony A7 3 n it work fast n ibis quite good. But I tested in my z5 it don't perform tat well as staff said ibis n autofocus old nikon exspeed 6. . He said so far he knew z6iii , z8 n 9 was good with lens.

I bought the Nikon z5 ii in Tokyo n tested there with street shot of Sibuya crossing. Another more test on birds at short distance of 5 meters n flowers . The autofocus was fast but I did not set bird detect but on auto detect. The video handheld quite ok not fantastic . I m really impressed with bo

Nikon Z6ii bricked

I still run the OG Z6 weekly for work, video and stills. But we've discussed the possibility of an HDMI power or cable issue in other comments, I have a feeling about that - and see if it will shoot video, in my experience, the HDMI and video boards seem connected, but stills are their own deal. And

Should have brought a Leica to space…NASA are losers.

uj/ Build quality of external shell is meaningless. DSLRs having more moving parts actually make them more susceptible to vibrations etc than mirrorless, and given that every gram counts getting something lighter like Z8 or even Z6 wouldn’t affect their photos but would shave a kilo or two off the t
