Why do 3rd party batteries have better capacity?
I recently got a mirrorless (Nikon Z50) and I was not prepared for how fast it eats battery. My D7000 has a 1900mAh battery, and it lasts me a day or two of constant photography. I typically worry about filling up my SD card before running out of battery. With the Z50, I went shooting for a short 2

The nikon Z30 is the perfect camera for a begineer.
I have to disagree, you think of it as perfect because you have not used the Z50 or Zfc. The lack of an EVF is severely limiting for use outside in sunny conditions. Also, it is not "waterproof", it is lightly weather sealed. If you're talking about best best beginner cameras, the Sony A6xxx series

Nikon Z fc, Z 5, or Z50II?
Nikon's Z DX segment is rather small and expensive, so I wouldn't look too much into Z50 or Zfc, since your budget allows you to go one image-quality shelf higher than that, with a Z5 paired with something like the Nikon Nikkor Z 40mm f/2 to get you started. However, if you'd prefer to start with a

Unannounced cameras
I really hope Nikon focuses on the entry level gear first. My first camera was a D50 in 2006. If I were starting today I would not buy a Z50. It’s not competitive. It’s blocking a whole generation out of investing in the Nikon ecosystem. Which puts my own investment at risk in the future if the busi

Why The Difference In Price?
Yeah, weird to start a sale on a referb item the moment they list it as in stock. I was debating a nikon z50 ii but for this price I'd rather stay Canon.

Nikon Z50 Lens recommendation.
Hello, I am a begineer and i own nikon z50 + 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 kit lens. I'm new to the system so I apologize for any dumb questions.
Recently I've been wanting to get a new lens for travel and street photography, I have an interest in wildlife as well.
One issue I faced with a 16-50mm kit lens w

Just upgraded from a digicam, Any advice for the journey will be much appreciated!
True! I personally think Nikon z50 differs in terms of video capability and the price, both which does not suit my current style and budget. I don’t know much about the nex-7 though it is kindof rare here where i live. All that aside, what manual lens are you pairing the a6000 with?

GR IV Monochrome pre-orders are now open ($2,199.95)
That's a pricey boy. I don't know if I'll ever get another Ricoch after GRIIIx. I'm happy with the results but the tradeoffs for that compact size are big and the GRIV price pushed it up to the tier of Nikon Z50 mkII with a decent lens, and Ricoh can hardly compete. That monochrome with 40mm lens wo

Photography program
Nikon z50 and 2 lenses. Kit lens and a longer one. Nothing great. They bill your tuition $3100 for it when retail is only 2000 or something. The other 1100 is for studio fees and such. Better off learning on YouTube for free and grabbing a beginner camera on marketplace.
