Fast Shutter Speed, Lower F Stop & too much noise ISO
Hi. I shoot theatre photography on nikon z50. Mainly 40mm f2. I also have 50-250mm minimum f5.6 one thing I'm really struggling with is. I need high shutter speed to capture the action at least 1/300 but it is so dark I have to boost the iso so high the noise is terrible. I know lower f stop is bes

Advice with Hasselblad XDC 100C
Hey guys around May or June 2025 I splashed out on an XDC 100C, (just out my return policy the XDC 100C 2 came out too wish I’d waited in hindsight).

Help, autofocus issues nikkor z 50mm 1.8 S
Nikon Z’s (for the exception of Z6III and Z8) all pre-stop-down up to f/5.6 to combat focus shift. That means on your Z50, even if the lens is f/1.8, it’s not doing the focusing at f/1.8. This is fine for most things, but it means action in dark places and stopped down becomes extremely difficult. I

I'm using a Nikon z50, pretty sure it's the stock lens? A 16-50mm. I'm brand new to photography and videography so I have no idea what I'm doing
So I've tried about 10 different setting variations I found online and nothing looks good, some outside shots look okay when the Sun is bright but anythin

Z50 + 24-70 f/4 too dark – alternatives?
Hello,
I would like your advice. I have a Nikon Z50 with a Nikkor 24-70 mm f4. When the sun rises or sets, the photos come out dark and of poor quality. I'm thinking of buying a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 f. Can someone advise whether the photos will be of better quality and whether I will have fewer problem
