How do I get sharper images in daylight?
I have been noticing when I’ve been shooting landscapes scenes that I am having real trouble with my camera picking up leaves and general detail in pictures. The leaves for example nearly all seem to just mould into noisy looking mush. I have been particularly struggling mentally with this when edit

Why do 3rd party batteries have better capacity?
I recently got a mirrorless (Nikon Z50) and I was not prepared for how fast it eats battery. My D7000 has a 1900mAh battery, and it lasts me a day or two of constant photography. I typically worry about filling up my SD card before running out of battery. With the Z50, I went shooting for a short 2

Snapbridge app, does it work seamlessly now in 2025? About to buy my first Nikon.
The Z50/Zfc/Z30 all have EXPEED6, which was released in 2018. It was behind the times in 2018, and although Nikon did a lot to make EXPEED6 cameras less awful than they were at release, they're still "usable" at best. EXPEED7, on the other hand, is competitive with Sony and Canon today. Unless you'r

Something wrong with my new 6k pro?
I just bought a BMPCC 6k Pro second hand I did a really quick test just as I brought it home and I can’t tell if there’s something up with it. I’ve attached pictures of it at 800 & 1250 ISO and a picture of the room to show what the lighting is actually like.
Could it be the fact that I’m using N

Manual focus Issues with AIR series 20mm/25mm 1.7 lens.
I just started buying some of the AIR series lenses and noticed this problem with some copies of the 25mm F1.7 - the manual focus is glitchy and laggy. I know focus by wire lenses are non-linear but this piece was obviously defective. It goes fast one moment, and super laggy the next moment. (Video

What do you use the fold for day to day?
I have a Nikon Z50 with a bunch of lenses. I have a Z Fold 6. I still wish the Z Fold 6 had a better camera. If my kid is running around inside in the evening doing something hilarious, I don't want to have to run and get my SLR camera. That's the entire purpose of a phone camera - convenience.

The nikon Z30 is the perfect camera for a begineer.
I have to disagree, you think of it as perfect because you have not used the Z50 or Zfc. The lack of an EVF is severely limiting for use outside in sunny conditions. Also, it is not "waterproof", it is lightly weather sealed. If you're talking about best best beginner cameras, the Sony A6xxx series

Just got a C/Y Contax Zeiss Distagon 35mm f2.8. Everything above the aperture ring wobbles?
I’m using it on my Nikon Z50, the connection to the adapter seems solid, as the aperture ring doesn’t wobble at all. The problem is the rest of the lens does, feels loose and makes a lot of noise. Is this fixable? There’s some screens around the mount, but I can’t imagine tightening those will help!

Fast Shutter Speed, Lower F Stop & too much noise ISO
Hi. I shoot theatre photography on nikon z50. Mainly 40mm f2. I also have 50-250mm minimum f5.6 one thing I'm really struggling with is. I need high shutter speed to capture the action at least 1/300 but it is so dark I have to boost the iso so high the noise is terrible. I know lower f stop is bes

Nikon Z fc, Z 5, or Z50II?
Nikon's Z DX segment is rather small and expensive, so I wouldn't look too much into Z50 or Zfc, since your budget allows you to go one image-quality shelf higher than that, with a Z5 paired with something like the Nikon Nikkor Z 40mm f/2 to get you started. However, if you'd prefer to start with a
