Okay, so a couple of things That is absolutely the right camera to start learning photography - good job. Until the Z50II came out I always recommended the ZFc but for various reasons the Z50II is now the better choice Don't buy new. See if Nikon has that exact gear available refurbished at a discou

The big one is that the Continuous AF with Tracking is nowhere near as good as Nikon 3D Tracking, and you can't set it to "any subject detect" like the Nikons. Then other things like you can't re-center the focus point by long-pressing "OK" unless you have moved it recently and it is active. Punch-i

I sold my Z50 and Zfc, bought the Z50II body as soon as it was available. The amount of customization is worth the upgrade by itself, let alone EXPEED7 improvement. I have mine set up virtually identical to my Z8. I wish Nikon had an f/4 16-80 zoom.

Most of my lenses don’t have an aperture ring, it depends on the camera I’m using. On my Sony a7riv, I don’t need an aperture ring because I have a bunch of dials to use. On my Nikon zfc i much prefer an aperture ring because it’s much more comfortable. As for Manual focus, I only use it when doing

A mirrorless camera should outperform a compact because it'll have a physically bigger sensor, plus you can choose what lens you want - in your case, some sort of wide angle. You'll be looking at older mirrorless cameras within your budget, but basically any camera made in the last 10ish years shoul

Greetings from a fellow designer and hobbyist photographer; I have a question for you: How much time do you want to spend editing photos? When I got into digital photography, I realized this was an important question to ask myself. After spending eight hours in front of my screen trying to be creati

here is my opinion of cameras that you can go for based on brandNikon:in full frame you can go nikon z5 in your budget with 24-70 f4s. It's a good combo i haved owned it personally in the past. The image quailty is really good including low light. The auto focus is a bit slow compared to newer nikon

I have the Nikon z6iii for more technical or precise photography, the zfc for places I might trash a camera (rivers, dirt, rain, etc) and lower-res, fun portraits. Something about that camera, people just respond to the vintage look (in the best way).

I moved to Nikon from Fuji two years ago when the Zf came out because I have always had the retro controls on my digital cameras. I used two Zf bodies for work and bought the Zfc for a daily carry camera because I wanted something lighter than the Zf. I now have 2 Z6iiis for work, and a ZF for life

The ZV-E10 does not handle at all like an OM-1, but the Nikon Zfc does, down to being almost the same size. The Nikkor lenses are naturally what I want to shoot for however as I mentioned it's the price issue. Those things are SO expensive 💀 They're also BIG. I mean, earlier you said you didn't care
