Using AF-S lenses with Nikon ZF
Entry level DX lenses are not worth the price of the FTZ to adapt to full frame Z bodies. You'll be left with only 10MP on the Zf, technically an upgrade over your D40x but very wasteful. You could've got the Nikon 40 f/2 or multiple other Chinese Z mount lenses for that price. You're mis-allocating
