I've owned both. I sold the X-T5 due to autofocus issues and picked up the ZF. I have no real issue stating the ZF is superior in every way except size/weight, regardless of the X-T5 getting it's autofocus fixed. That being said, the size and weight difference in use is pretty significant. It's visi

I still have one body and a couple of lenses, but they very rarely get used. I found the build quality going down and the prices going up, while the only feature that they weren't lagging behind in was film sims. The ZF kind of sealed Fujifilms fate for me. Definitely not here to bash Fujifilm, they

I went to the Nikon zf and wow, what a step up. The build quality is such an improvement and you still get to use recipes if you like. I also think I prefer the full frame vibe my images have now too. It’s a stupidly capable camera

Not your OP but I also transitioned from Fuji to a Nikon Zf. With native Z mount lenses, the AF is leagues better than my X-E4, decisively focussing in situations where the Fuji wouldn't and focussing faster in situations where the Fuji would. Full frame is a lot larger image area than aps-c, it's a

I was in the exact same position as you are right now. If it's for work, get the Z6iii because you need to maximize the performance that you can get with the money that you have. If it's for hobby or daily activities, choose the camera that makes you wanna shoot. I ended up with the Zf. I chose it o

Got ya. I will declare my bias: which is for Full Frame or larger. I know technically APS-C can be good (and I have an APS-C camera), but I swear I can just tell when it is not full-frame - probably completely stupid, but hey ho we all have our delusions. As for wanting "compact", I would consider t

As a current Zf user and former Fuji guy, your question intrigued me. My instinct told me the X-T30 was/is the smallest of the bunch, and after pulling them all into PS and sizing to the manufacturer's stated dimensions, indeed, the Fuji is the little guy. Which honestly makes the OM-3 larger than I

I went the other way. I already have a decent suite of full frame Nikon z stuff. I went OM-3 for my small edc for the premium feel of the body. I got spoiled with the build quality of my zf and I couldn’t go back to plastic fantastic. I don’t use zooms for the om3. I picked up a few cheap lenses use

Good point on the cost, maybe I phrased it wrongly, but I meant that the difference is not that big compared to full frame cams. The lenses are tricky to compare, but APSC are generally cheaper if we compare by the f stop :) For the built quality, it really depends, let’s look at Nikon zf. The price

Here’s a pretty comprehensive comparison imo: https://reddit.com/r/ricohGR/comments/1i33vw2/one_of_these_has_to_go_nikon_zf_vs_fujifilm/ I had the GR 1 years ago and I honestly can’t imagine a better camera when it comes to the balance of compactness/image quality. That said, the Zf is a full frame camera a
