Please Nikon make a Z7 III

There’s too much overlap with the Z8 for this to happen - the Z8 is only 1/3 of a stop worse at ISO 64 than the Z7ii, but has a much larger potential market as it is also much faster (making it good for sports, birds, etc.) and will do video better than a hypothetical Z7iii. The only real likelihood

Finally making the switch! DSLR ---> Mirrorless

Z5ii unless you’re planning to do lots of video, in which case Z6iii. Z5ii and Z6iii have the newer EXPEED 7 processor and have much better autofocus as a result than Z6ii or Z7ii. Z5ii has more dynamic range than Z6iii under ISO 800 (they’re about the same above ISO 800). Z6iii is much more capable

Nikon Autofocus quality? Z5II,6III or 7II

Anything but the z7ii. I find it’s great on a tripod but recently shot a wedding and found it losing/missing focus a lot..

Stay with DSLR or go Mirrorless: That is the question

The z7ii is not a replacement to the D850 as the D850’s tracking ability for moving subjects is better. The z6iii tracking ability is on par or better that the D850 but you take a loss in resolution. You can use your current lenses with the mirrorless body without penalty. If you are wanting to get

Z5II, Z6III or Z7II

Z5ii has slightly better dynamic range for landscapes and is cheaper, and the Z6iii has slightly better autofocus and higher FPS for sports. I wouldn’t do Z7ii unless it was almost pure landscapes.

Nikon Autofocus quality? Z5II,6III or 7II

I do a decent amount of event coverage in lowlight settings. The Z6III is a great performer and I’ve been able to get very detailed shots shooting at even 12,800 ISO. Autofocus wise, it performs great. I would say it’s 98% of Sony’s, but with more customization available in the controls/menus. Z5II

Nikkor DX series lens vs lower quality full frame lens?

if you're using a full frame camera, unless you're using one of the higher resolution bodies (z7, z7ii, z8, z9), then i feel it wouldn't make sense to use the dx lens, mainly cos it turns your camera into a 10-12 MP camera (not that it's unusable, but it's quite the crop). Also, I wouldn't necessari

Z5II or Z7II

I’m going to be brutally honest here. Get the Z5II kit and quit thinking that more megapixels is better. Non-photographers want to see the whole photo. On-screen or on the wall, they are going to view the whole thing. The 300 ppi rule is for viewing at 12 inches. What is the biggest image you can se

What am I doing wrong, movement on Z7II.

AF-C Also, this is the Achilles heel of the Z7II - gorgeous output, sucks at focusing on dogs running towards you (this is literally how I test AF). It's the dual Expeed 6 - they just can't keep up - and it's why I want an Expeed 7 Z7III (NOT A Z8!!! - I WANT THIS SENSOR). It was a night and day dif

Z7ii, Z6iii or Z6ii

Go with the Z5ii or Z6iii. I would only recommend the Z7ii if you need the extra megapixels for some reason. Both the Zii and the Z6ii use the outdated Expeed 6 processor, which puts them at a disadvantage in terms of autofocus subject tracking, burst rates, and video capabilities compared to the Ex
