Suffered (enjoyed?) this for a life time. The Last few years I simplified my attack to smallness/lightness as my new rule. No 2.8 zooms. Z30. 12-28 Z Nikon. 10.5mm Nikon on an F2Z thing. No strap. Just belt clip. And a belt clip holder for the 2nd lens. Having so much fun. ❣️

There is a web site that lets you directly compare images for different cameras. I set it to JPEG and selected Your D810E, The New Nikon Z50ii Hasselblad X1D and older iPhones I think I see this... Smallness/Lightness are paramount. The stunning DX Nikon Z30 with the sharp 16-50 kit zoom is 800$ new. It’s 5568 pixels on the long side are plenty….
