Moving to a place where Cox internet is the best option. Need recommendations to make the best out of this situation.

I had Cox for over a decade in Irvine. I never had a problem with spotty connection or outages. I had huge problems with pricing and customer service. Got tired of having to do the dog and pony show every 12 months to get put on the new promotion to prevent huge price increases. I moved on to Google

Quantum Fiber Mesh

I think the Asus systems, zenwifi bt10 as well as the netgear orbi 770 (this one has a subscription). I have used asus routers in my house, so I used their software to create a mesh system as i upgraded, my main is be98pro, with nodes of be92u and a gtax11000. If you can wire your backhaul, then you

Game Over Netgear

I just switched over from a couple of RBR50 Orbis last month. They were indeed very solid. Seeing the crazy prices and limited features of Netgear's current stuff drove me to a Firewalla router and some Unifi access points.

Recommendations or a simple home setup

Ok....so you want a Wifi router with a couple of ethernet connections. Any one of several newer Tp-link or netgear ones will do. The rub will be how much bandwidth you need/want for the wifi and how far does it need to connect (via Wifi) A full fledged leading edge mesh 7 system with multiple satell

After a full hardware failure of our current router —and downgrading to our past one— my parents have accepted the need for an upgrade. What routers do you guys run? Any suggestions?

I’ve been using Netgear Orbi mesh for years. Expensive but works fantastic. I have a base and two satellites. Reception in my 1963 home is horrid without mesh. While Ethernet backhaul would be ideal, Orbi has a dedicated WiFi backhaul and it is very fast.
