It depends. If you have a Vertuo and can only order from Nespresso, then yeah, that will bankrupt you. I have a Nespresso OL Citiz machine. I buy my third party pods from Lidle which I feel compare, if not better than Nespresso pods. I am in the UK and it cost me £2.69 for 20 pods.

I worked at Starbucks for a long time. Get a nespresso from the OL line to get really good espresso shots. In your main cup or shaker add milk, ice, any flavor then pour the shots over top, shake and serve! Since you want ices you don’t need one with a steam wand so I’d probably go with the citiz -

Nespresso makes two very different lines of machines. The Vertuo line is coffee makers. They use domed pods and make, well, cups of coffee. They pretend to make espresso, but real espresso people may be disappointed. The Original line is genuine espresso makers. They use smaller pods and make smalle

I purchased a black Vertuo Up on the first day it launched. It is an incredibly versatile machine. I love the fact you can adjust the temperature and volume of the coffee. The maintenance button is a nice touch. Of the five Nespresso machines I have (4 Vertuo and 1 Original Line), the Vertuo Up and

Hey I worked the phone lines in the UK, here’s the best advise I can give you: Try doing a factory reset of the machine (unlock machine head, push the head down, with it unlocked press brew button 5 times within 3 seconds. The light should flash orange 5 times then return to a steady white. If the l

Get the Pro, you’ll kick yourself afterwards if you get the Citiz instead. It’s a big improvement, and I’ve had no descale issue, even with hard water. I’ve had mine for 5 years with no issues, and have been using original Nespresso for over 30 years.

I prefer larger cups of coffee over smaller, but still love an americano and espresso in a latte. I had this $300 gift from work and I had to select from a site with a lot of crap I didn’t need on it, and then I found the nespresso machines. It was a no brained LOL. Plus I was always futzing with th

I think it depends on what type of water people have because I’ve had my CItiz over a decade and only once descaled (not too long ago) because of this subreddit and I swear it almost broke my machine. It got stuck in some mode and wouldn’t get out of it. Honestly feel I did more harm to it than anyt

DeLonghi Nespresso Citiz Milk to DeLonghi Magnifica Plus. Though we appreciated the simplicity of coffee pods, after 3 years, we simply got tired of the Nespresso coffee pod's bland taste. As a result, we still wanted a simple process but from freshly roasted coffee beans.

Yes. I’m so glad I purchased the CitiZ Platinum over the plain CitiZ. Actually, it was the only Original Line machine left in stock during a Private Sale event. The Nespresso gods were looking out for me, lol. Larger reservoir and spent capsules bin, plus the dedicated hot water feature!!
