The app does feel a generation behind Roborock, Dreame/MOVA, but I’ve used worse including the iRobot, Shark and Dyson apps. The Flow seems to be a hit for Narwal and they are now the #5 robot manufacturer worldwide, so hopefully that’s something that gets overhauled in 2026.

Someone from China can probably speak to this with more history. From what I've seen, the Max loses one of the side brushes, increases vac suction from 22,000 to 2500 PA, adds auto soap dosing, adds electrolysis, and adds UV. For me personally, that isn't an upgrade that would tempt me to wait. I do
