Mullvad VPN

Proton and mullvad are about as good as one another. Both have had incidents to provide logs in court well mullvad actually got raided I believe neither could hand anything over since they didn't have any logs of anything to provide.

Friends in Russia reporting that it's not reliably working and servers like Poland and Germany don't connect. You could try getting 1 month and using Shadowsocks, but be aware that VPNs are being hard cracked down on. Either using something like V2Ray, Amnezia or something obfuscated would be best.

Mullvad is the answer for me, may not be the fanciest one and has no port forwarding, but it’s reliable as hell.

He has a point though, DAITA will slow down your speeds alot as it adds more data to your connection? The internet is not magic, its data and connections being bound by rules and the great firewall of china is a formidable foe for any VPN company? The people in my guild that are from China uses Mull

Big upvote on Mullvad. Only VPN i’ve gotten to work consistently in highly internet restricted countries

I do it on my pc and use Nord VPN, but you can use Mullvad (what my friend uses) and it's the same (any VPN that can connect to Japan should just work)

I used to be on Mullvad (after being on ovpn.se for years) but then recently switched to Proton during last black friday because I needed to switch to a service with port forwarding for my Plex server and it is honestly so much better (not getting IP blocked as often, for starters). I already use Pr
