Curved ultrawide is perfect for you. Look into a 1440p (QHD) 34” or a 49”. Im rocking the MSI Optix MAG342CQR and its great. Downside is that it uses smaller VESA (75 x 75) instead of the standard 100x100 so I had to drill holes in my mounting plate.

MSI MAG342CQR - seemed like a good budget monitor. I still need to buy a PS5. After 2042’s launch, I walked away from gaming. Excited to get back on the battlefield!

Depends on what you consider inexpensive. The MSI 34" Curved UWQHD (3440 x 1440) HDMI DP 144Hz 1ms Adaptive-Sync LCD Gaming Monitor - Optix MAG342CQR is on sale right now for $175 and it’s what I have. Fortnite looks great. It’s a little big but you can adjust the screen size without diminishing pic

Not using iem's but a pair of Audio-Technica m50x closed back headphones plugged into a Scarlett 2i2 audio interface (when I don't want a mic) and an msi 34" 3440*1440 ultra wide MAG342CQR. Refresh is 144 but I cap at 100. Honestly the black levels are shit and there's light bleed around the edges,

If you’re open to something a bit different, the MSI Optix MAG342CQR ($319) is worth considering. It’s an ultrawide, which makes single-player games way more immersive, and overall it’s a solid all-around performer for the price. Fwiw my mate and i looked into a bunch of monitors in this range and t

But just so you know: The Odyssey G5 is only VA panel, which means deeper blacks but not as vibrant as the MSI MAG 342CQR’s DCI-P3 95% color coverage. It’s also only 165Hz vs 180Hz on the MSI (not a huge differenc

Watch out with these questions, the triple screen police will come.😉 I have an MSI MAG342CQR (also an UW34 1000R) for about 300, if you don’t care too much about OLED it could save a lot of money. Works great and looks good enough imo. But yeah OLED is nicer, if you can swing it that Samsung is a gr
