Steam Deck vs Legion Go S SteamOS

alright I'll bite. I've owned the Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, MSI Claw 8 AI+, Legion go S and Legion go 2. I am a life long xbox and pc gamer. I did have a PS3 and PS4 but didn't ever end up with a PS5. Steam Deck got me back into handheld gaming. I had it for about a year and sold it to get something w

Well... i tested each of it

Tried ROG XAX and MSI Claw 8AI+ both, thought the performance and screen is superb, the rest is a downer (loosy Sticks, D-Pad, Vibration). On the other side the ROG XAX was great, but the screen just too small. I guess i'm waiting for the next handheld with Intel panther lake then.

After trying a few of the stronger handhelds available, here are my thoughts to hopefully help others.

Tldr: tested several gaming handhelds trying to run Oblivion Remastered on the go. Key takeaways: • Steam Deck – great for older/backlog games, struggles with new AAA titles • Legion Go S Z1E – best all-rounder for most people, buy used for $500-700 • ROG Ally X – best for travelers, but the 7” scre

Is the Steam Deck OLED Worth Getting This Late in the Game?

I bought one recently and I'd say so. The thing is that while more powerful devices are coming out the performance ceiling for these things is still very low. At least in comparison to consoles and even full desktop PCs when you get to the more expensive ones like the ROG Ally X and the latest model

Steam OS -> Windows

When I first started up my MSI Claw A8, I was super surprised to see that useless junks like Office 365, Clipchamp, Onedrive, Paint, calculator, weather, and news apps were already preinstalled onto the device. It.is.a.handheld.console.for.playing.game. So why preinstall all these sh!t on my device?

Design is Unmatched, Real Shame

Non-functioning features that they're using as a selling point? As someone that plays a lot of FPS games, no gyro really is a deal-breaker for me. Since I first started buying handhelds from this company, I've probably forked over $5000 to them. In that time, the software experience has improved mar

Recently got into handhelds, don’t know what to choose.

I miss the Ally X. Software was great. Gyro controls, easy form factor and use. 7 inches though was too small for my approaching 42 year old eyes. Text especially. The MSI Claw 8ai is amazing. Absolute worst software ever though. Like, Legion Space was pretty bad, but Center M is a joke. Handheld Co

Is the legion go 2 price now justifiable based off the competitors?

Legion Go release price was $699 is now priced at $749 MSI Claw 8 AI+release price was $899 is now priced at $1,149 Usually when a device comes out and it ages the
