Steam Deck vs Legion Go S SteamOS

alright I'll bite. I've owned the Steam Deck, ROG Ally X, MSI Claw 8 AI+, Legion go S and Legion go 2. I am a life long xbox and pc gamer. I did have a PS3 and PS4 but didn't ever end up with a PS5. Steam Deck got me back into handheld gaming. I had it for about a year and sold it to get something w

Steam OS -> Windows

When I first started up my MSI Claw A8, I was super surprised to see that useless junks like Office 365, Clipchamp, Onedrive, Paint, calculator, weather, and news apps were already preinstalled onto the device. It.is.a.handheld.console.for.playing.game. So why preinstall all these sh!t on my device?

Design is Unmatched, Real Shame

Non-functioning features that they're using as a selling point? As someone that plays a lot of FPS games, no gyro really is a deal-breaker for me. Since I first started buying handhelds from this company, I've probably forked over $5000 to them. In that time, the software experience has improved mar

Recently got into handhelds, don’t know what to choose.

I miss the Ally X. Software was great. Gyro controls, easy form factor and use. 7 inches though was too small for my approaching 42 year old eyes. Text especially. The MSI Claw 8ai is amazing. Absolute worst software ever though. Like, Legion Space was pretty bad, but Center M is a joke. Handheld Co

MSI Claw 8 AI Better?

Ive had a claw 8ai quite recently, now own a legion go 2. In my opinion when you move up to an 8in screen it makes a huge difference, now im playing on the lego 2 with its 8.8in it makes my steam deck look comically small... However if you are quite used to a 7in screen then moving to another 7in sc

Claw A8 vs XAX

I recently sold my Claw 8 AI+ and picked up the XAX today. Although different scenario to your Claw 8 since Intel provides the drivers, the MSI software really isn't great. So far I also prefer the smaller screen for portability reasons, with a less bulky body and nicer joysticks.

What to get

Msi claw 8 ai is one of the best performance wise. But for 1sr person shooters the joysticks are really bad. They have low resistance and are hard to aim. You either need to mod it to replace the spring or use a controller

Msi Claw A8 in white.

How cheap does the Claw A8 actually feel? And how is the cooling performance? I'm still deciding between the Legion Go 2, Claw A8, and Claw A8 AI+.What bothers me about the Legion Go 2 are the detachable controllers, the overwhelming number of buttons, and the heavy weight.With the Claw A8, my conce

I had both , msi claw 8ai bad software got annoying lag everytime , its a shame the screen was so nice , but ergo and software made me stay with xbox ally x , these days switch 2 8’’ screen and lightness makes me go back to it , so easy to pick up with grips one of the best handhelds hands down
