Monsgeek M1 v5 Tape mod on PCB. Tape on case foam, wut? Non-working encoder. Massively overlubed stabilizers.

I had a mate just came over last week and I’ve been telling him about custom keyboards and he was like “never really understood why people would waste time and effort on custom keyboards just buy one ready made (from the big commercial brands)”; he tried my recently acquired Monsgeek M1 V5 with the

nobody says it's bad(the one you got), it's just very poor value, Monsgeek(sister brand of Akko) M1 V5 VIA is $90 barebones, 110-120 for fully built one depending on color combo and it's better

I know that monsgeek is owned by akko. Monsgeek. Better layout. Can't use a keyboard without at lesat 3 modifiers on right side of the space.

Same dilemma 2mos ago. Got to try both in a local store. Bought the Monsgeek V1 in a heartbeat. Form factor, build, layout, is just better. Not much but just enough to justify it over Inky75.
