I took the red pill.

I had a mate just came over last week and I’ve been telling him about custom keyboards and he was like “never really understood why people would waste time and effort on custom keyboards just buy one ready made (from the big commercial brands)”; he tried my recently acquired Monsgeek M1 V5 with the

Best 75 aluminum keyboard recs?

Monsgeek M1 v5 VIA was the platonic ideal of an aluminum keyboard but it seems to be out of stock everywhere but possibly ISO in Europe. I had to get mine used and it was an adventure.

Why do HE keyboards sound bad?

The Gateron Jade Ultras sound very good. The Gravastar UFO do as well, but I prefer the Jade Ultras, the UFO's are overpriced, even though I have them, the Ultras are very good and you save money. Also make sure your keycaps are not too thin. Also, the Jade Dragon N the Nuphy WH80 come with sound ve

Die sehr guten Akko Astrolonk HE switches gibt's übrigens gr

Keyboard recommendations

I'd go the DIY route simply because there aren't many good prebuilt keyboards that come with clicky switches, and the best clicky switches are usually only sold separately. For a 75% barebones keyboard, I'd recommend the Leobog Hi75C or the MonsGeek M1 V5. They're both aluminum, but they have enough

Best budget thocky/creamy keyboards

If you can stretch the budget a little, the Monsgeek M1v5 ISO can be had for about £80 (barebones - AliX) - add Akko Creamy Yellow switches and a set of key caps for another £15-20 and you've got an excellent starter keyboard that's full aluminium and really thocky. I can also highly recommend the W

Please Recommend!

Monsgeek M1 v5 VIA * The platonic ideal of a consumer 75% AL but seem to be out of stock, I guess we're waiting for v6. Akko 5075B VIA * The M1's plastic pal. Womier WD75 * Glencreag WK84 * Wood is an amazing case material. I have done some significant hacks on the WK84 source code online so it's legit.
