I know that monsgeek is owned by akko. The OEM that produces the PCB for the m1 v5 TMR is a company called rongyuan, and their firmware suffers from many stability issues caused by poor input filtration. This is the same OEM that keyboards like the fun60 and some ace60 models use, and you can see th

My first custom keyboard!
nobody says it's bad(the one you got), it's just very poor value, Monsgeek(sister brand of Akko) M1 V5 VIA is $90 barebones, 110-120 for fully built one depending on color combo and it's better

should i buy keychron k2 he or wormier sk75 tmr or monsgeek m1 v5 tmr
I think that wormier and monsgeek have ronguan pcb which have bad opinion. Someone in another post mentioned everglide su75 pro or irok mg75 v2. I looked at keychron q1 he pcb and it looked nice. From this lineup id choose keychron

MONSGEEK M1 V5 TMR
They explain in product description, "Please kindly note that the switch pad may not have cut-outs, which might make it seem incompatible with mechanical switches on the TMR version. If you encounter this issue, installing switches is still easy—the switch pad allows for simple insertion." Maybe the

Akko vs Aula vs Royal Kludge
it seems monsgeek is sister brand of akko. But the m1v5 is around 4.5k.My budget is less than 3k, so I might really just go with akko. thanks

keyboard supporting HE and mechanical???
RE: MONSGEEK M1 V5 TMR - Annoying that it is clearly advertised as having the ability to swap out ANY key u want as magnetic of mechanic, (is one of the main 'selling' bullet points on the website AND amazon product page) yet only after u buy and read fine print do u find out the above. This kind of

MONSGEEK M1 V5 TMR
you may have recieved the wrong version? hopefully not, but if you did and the seller is charging you half the price of the keyboard for a return, i hope you used a credit card to rebuke the payment, and buy yourself the right version from the monsgeek site directly. or better yet, buy a keychron he

Help decide, MonsGeek M1 V5 vs MCHOSE GX87 Ultra vs Keychron K2 HE
I’d skip Monsgeek. I had both the old and 2025 versions of M1V5 TMR. The build was solid sure, but the software is bloody awful. Random disconnections, tried on different computers, happened to both old and new versions.
