Why is LLM is so expensive.

I think in a month or two, after Flash Attention and Turboquant and MTP and DFlash all hit for Vulkan, you can probably get decent performance out of something cheap like a Minisforum UM870 Slim. With 64GB of RAM and GTT set in Linux to make all of the system RAM available to the iGPU, you can alrea

FreeBSD as edge router with pf, VNET jails, and bhyve — single server or mini PC cluster?

For context, I currently have a 64 GB/5TB SSD UM790 Pro and a 96 GB RAM/5TB MS-A2, both Minisforum. I also use Python virtual environments, FreeBSD jails and bhyve VMs on these systems. The MS-A2 can be powered on remotely when I need additional CPU/RAM capacity. I’m considering the power/performanc

Adrenaline crashed again after updating to 26.2.3

Heard a lot of people using the 25.9.1 drivers, I use the 25.11.1. I haven't tried the 25.9.1 as I got my PC after that release, and also didn't have a dedicated GPU, but I knew the 25.11.1 was safe for my igpu Radeon 780m. Works great with my eGpu Rx7600xt so far. PC specs: UM890 Pro Mini PC RX7600

Why did you buy a minipc?

I had an extremely powerful desktop that I simply was not making use of. Mini PC has all the speed I need, way less power hungry, and much less fan noise. Also my AIO was about ready for replacing and god a lot of them have gotten expensive. Using a Minisforum UM890 Pro. It had some hiccups at launc
