There are way too many options available, even searching this sub its hard to figure out which I should get for budget PS2 Emulation.

is Minisforum small formfactor PCs any good with Linux ?
I have two Minisforum PCs. I have a UM773 Lite that I bought over two years ago for my work and a UM890 Pro that I bought a year ago for my home. I bought both as barebones models and installed a Ubuntu based distro on them. I have had no major issues with either of them.

Do not buy any Minisforum products if you value your time and money there is a big chance you will lose both

What's the most trusthworthy MiniPC brand?

is minisforum reputable?
There are definitely MF lines to stay away from even refurbished. If you can spring for e.g. a refurbished UM773 Lite system that might be OK. Heck they are only $280 new on Amazon. Just buy from a place with a good return policy. Honestly if I were recommending for someone else I'd say get any Beel
