potentially but I doubt the 256gb, you will be forced in 2R, your stick are unlikely to maintain the 8000MT/s. On the MS-S1 max, ram is still soldered so no realistic change there.And if you source another integrator for the 395+ then yeah stick to their bios, minisforum bios have no extra sprinkles

I did consider a Ryzen AI Max+ 395 platform like the Minisforum MS-S1 MAX, but it's not available in Canada yet. Using standard system RAM to pull in experts as needed will be very slow, wouldn't it? I think I would really be affected by PCIe bottlenecks. I think I will probably have some issues the

Minisforum MS-02 Ultra Review
It depends on what you want to do but with this form factor and the cost, you may just want to build your own with an ITX case/motherboard. Of course the most costly item now is the RAM if you want the 128GB and will be extra expensive with ECC sticks. This item gets sold in my local Microcenter but
