I bought the Minisforum MS-S1 Max for local AI. I had no idea how bad local AI was compared to Opus, but I'm glad I didn't buy anything more expensive than this thing was. Definitely feel like I wasted money. The one thing I'm happy about is that I have private access to uncensored models.

Nvidia GB10 (DGX Spark and Co.) or AMD AI Max+ 395 (Framework Desktop)
Zero reason to not get the DGX Spark over S1-Max. Hardware wise the Max beats the Spark on CPU base clock, boost clock, and CPU cache (these really do not matter much) though the Spark has more cores.
