Building a local AI agent setup (OpenClaw): mini PC advice for Germany, buy now or wait?

The largest problem with the AI X1 Pro 470 32GB is it following the latest trend of 1x stick of RAM. Unless you're looking to add the missing stick which will put you over budget you'll find a reduction in processing, graphics and LLM performance by up to 40%. If you're going to focus on Strix Point

Which mini pc

The Main issue of the Minisforum AI X1 Pro 470 is that it support SODIMM RAM, so it might have +200Mhz IGPU Frequency but it is probably outperformed by LPDDR5X 8000Mhz HX370 model.

Minisforum AI X1 Pro-470 Review: 3x M.2 Slots, No Power Brick, and why Dual-Channel RAM is Mandatory (+88% FPS Jump)

I have the Topton D12 x370 which I got for a bargain from aliexpress last summer. Great machine especially with 96gb 5600 that i also bagged at the time. This new minisforum hx 470 is a minimal upgrade and needed better network connections than the 2x2.5 to be called Pro for me. Apart from that its

I’m looking for a mini pc for the sole purpose of running fallout 4 modded to hell and back

I guess check any system you buy. It might come with a single stick of laptop Ram at 32 GB.. and single channel is very bad for iGPU performance. You could get barebone and add the ram yourself to make sure dual channel. But ram is expensive. https://refurbished.minisforum.com/products/minisforum-ai

Recommend a mini pc for wow ?

If you're looking for a mini-pc specifically, I'd say this is probably a good option as far as performance goes: https://store.minisforum.com/products/minisforum-ai-x1-pro-470-mini-pc That said, understand that mini-pc's are just that... mini. That means no room for a powerful discrete gpu. The one

New GMKtec M7 Ultra appears to be infected. Beware of the malware!

Or buy a volume key of a LTSC Windows 11 version, much smaller footprint with less bloat. Also a LTSC version of Office Pro Plus. Both together less than 38€. Works perfectly on my Minisforum AI X1 Pro 470. Fast as hell.

Pretty much anything with the AMD Ryzen AI 470 is going to be a rock solid start for a gaming mini-PC, especially if you want to emulate the likes of PS3 and 360. https://www.minisforum.uk/products/ai-x1-pro-470-ai-mini-pc If your budget is more restricted, the *7940HS/8945HS models (and similar equ
