MikroTik requires manual configuration for everything. Go to System -> Disk, you usually have to format it to a compatible file system and mount it first. I used a hAP ac2 in my 52 m² apartment, and I barely had any signal in the kitchen. After switching to a TP-Link Archer C6, the Wi-Fi signal became much stronger throughout the apartment.
