Turin DF54 from Alibaba?
The DF54 is a white label product. Could be ‘Turin,’ ‘MiiCoffee’ or ‘DF Grinders’ they’re all the same product from the same factory. I doubt you’re getting a ‘knock off,’ it’s just probably unbranded or something other than ‘Turin.’ The bigger issues I see are after-sales support and power compatib

Best coffee grinder under ~[$250]
FWIW we use the Baratza Encore ESP for double duty, both filter and espresso, and it handles it like a champ. No complaints. It's nice and compact and it looks stylish. There's a bit of retention, so use the hopper lid as a bellows to purge the burrs when you're done grinding. My personal belief is

DF54 / Eureka Mignon Classic Manuale / ESP Encore [$350]
I had a DF54. It was amazing for about 6 months. Then it clogged non stop. MiiCoffee was not helpful at all. Basically blamed “user error”. I’d stay away from that.

WARNING: Do NOT buy from df64coffee.com — Refused warranty and literally DOXXED me.
I wholeheartedly agree with this recommendation. Here is my experience with them: I purchased a DF64v3 in early January. I paid for the SSP burrs. They processed the order as a DF54 which I did not want. When I emailed customer service they said “All sales final.” I went back and forth with them abo

Should I pull the trigger on the MiiCoffee Apex Espresso v2? [$500]
Is that machine the same as the Apex? I know that it, as well as the DF54 family of grinders are made by a Chinese manufacturer that is resold by various companies depending on the region(importing one is really expensive) I know that both Turin and MiiCoffee are resellers in the US. The Legato and

Grinder upgrade suggestions under [$300] for Barista Touch – clogging issues with medium/light roasts
How was the experience of buying df54 from MiiCoffee? I read some comments on Reddit where customer were complaining about MiiCoffee not delivering their order and then on reaching out to the support staff, miiCoffee folks were rude

Grinder Analysis Paralysis [$500 CAD]
My DF54 was perfect for months until it wasn’t. I got it from MiiCoffee. They didn’t help other than to send a new part which didn’t help. Now I’m eyeing the VS4. I’ve been without a grinder for months as I don’t want to make another expensive mistake. I tried the Opus which helped me decide I need

Single dose grinder without 2nd mortgage? [$400 or less]
I strongly caution against a DF54. Mine was great until it wasnt. It clogged, I had to open to clean regularly and then the threads failed and the whole thing was trash. MiiCoffee wasn’t helpful at all. Machine only lasted a few months.
