To add to the clean the chute advice, I had the same issue and did the same clean etc only to have it immediately clog again. I strongly caution against a DF54. Mine was great until it wasnt. It clogged, I had to open to clean regularly and then the threads failed and the whole thing was trash. MiiCoffee wasn’t helpful at all. Machine only lasted a few months.

It looks like some df54s use a plastic piece that gets bent out of shape. I've taken mine apart a few times and bent the piece back to flat which solves the issue.
