Gemilai G3006 [US $319] vs Breville Infuser [US $399] - reasons not to buy?

Have had both. Returned the Owl. The Infuser is a bit of a hidden gem and, IMHO, is probably the best-bang-for-the-buck espresso machine out there. I attribute this to it's properly implemented manual pre-infusion. Meaning, it maintains good flow rate but limits pressure (3bar), for an arbitrary len

A worthy buy?

Here’s my experience and opinion. I had one of the early versions and a lot of people had problems with consistency, especially with the grind setting, but I never had a problem. Seemed like it was released before they had all the bugs worked out, but the latest models seem to be MUCH better! The on

Finally got mine!

Enjoy! I use mine with the MiiCoffee Apex V2 (runs under many brand names). I'm satisfied with the espressos I can pull with this setup. If I switched I would probably go for a Lelit Elizabeth, but the price difference is not negligible for probably diminishing returns.

Simple but effective [under $1200 can it be beat]

Well ....laughing....I can't say it's like a major clean. Wipe wipe, rinse rinse. Use my Ryobi vac and coffee dust be gone. 8 years of making Espresso is loads of experience btw. Turin Legato V2 is out of stock right now where I'm looking in the USA. I'll wait but the price is the same as yours. Whe

Looking for new budget espresso machine [$500]

I had the same budget, and bought a MiiCoffee Apex v2. I actually had the money earlier, but couldn't buy v1 without the OPV. Then when v2 was released with an adjustable OPV I was finally able to put my $500 to use with a machine that had every important feature you could need to really dial in esp

Decision Fatigue - Need Help Deciding on Easy At Home Espresso Machine [$1200]

Three items:1 - A dedicated milk frother. About $100 for a good one. This offloads the entire which espresso machine issue to one of I only need something to extract shots. Anything will do, really. So get a MiiCoffee Apex V2 or Bambino Plus or Gaggia Classic or A Delonghi Maestro - all of these wil

Best set up for a beginner? [$800.00 budget]

I recommend MiiCoffee Apex V2 and Turin Legato V2 are essentially the same and either one is a solid choice you won’t feel the need to upgrade after just six months. The DF54 and Starseeker E55 are excellent grinders worth considering. As for the Bambino, I find it overrated and overpriced. Its temp

Selling my brevile barista express! What should I get next? [$600]

Check out the MiiCoffee Apex V2. I just got mine last week and love it. My home lattes taste exactly like my local coffee shop (bought their fresh roast beans as I really wanted to compare beans to beans with this new purchase). The quaily of the machine has been questioned in some online reviews bu

Best espresso machine for blonde roasts? [$~550]

I would look at the Turin Legato V2/MiiCoffee Apex V2 as it has a PID and can be adjusted to get a proper extraction with lighter roasts. And it's only about $500.
