Cumulative Updates: January 13th, 2026

Brand new Microsoft Surface Laptop (2024, 13-inch, ARM) straight out of the box and fully updated patches, firmware, 25H2. It can't come out of the black screen when the display goes to sleep. This issue occurs on Microsoft's own hardware. Quite sad.

Dunne laptop die lang meegaat

Microsoft Surface laptop 7.

Looking for an extremely quiet (I’m autistic, fans really bother me) and relatively light laptop with good battery life. Will just be using it for college. Don’t want to buy a MacBook. Have €1200 to spend. Thanks

Everything runs butter smooth, the screen goes way brighter than the surface laptop, I even prefer the touchpad and keyboard that comes

A LOT will be shipping with haptic trackpads. Probably won’t be as good as Macs but will be a step up. I have be

Is there a noticeable difference between Snapdragon X Plus (10-core) and X Elite (12-core)?

Yes, you'll hear the fans more often in a 13-inch X Elite. Besides that, not really since Windows on ARM still hasn't matured. If you want the X Elite, go for a 15-inch Microsoft Surface Laptop 7.
