Surface Go 3

I traded in my Surface Go in July 2023 to Samsung and got $100 for it. It was the base Go with 4GB/64GB. What are the specs? I'm still feelin' more of a tablet gadget vibe, with an attachable keyboard accessory. Surface Sumo, as compared to the svelte surface pro, and the downright underfed surface go. Laptop, to me, means "Clamshell body'.

You shouldn't get one of these just because of the violet color. Microsoft's pictures are misleading. I have the 12" in violet and it's a very subtle almost bluish shade. Surface Go tablets were also underpowered. The fastest available was the Go 4 with an Intel N200 and the iPhone chip in the Neo is magnitudes faster.

How much faster is it than a Surface Go 2? Anything is faster than a surface go 2. I got a secondhand GO 2 a few months back, and it's been fine (much better than the Go 3 I have, which has a bunch of annoying glitches that haven't been resolved over the few years I've had it). Feedback from a person who just bought a surface go 2 for $80 on Amazon. Pay the extra money if you really want one, I got one because I needed a Windows base tablet and didn’t want to pay a lot of money. I’m not gonna lie. It’s gonna be super laggy and slow. Cosmic doesn't have a way (that i could find) to have an on-screen keyboard on login. That's the only deal breaker or i'd be running cosmic. Can't live without it on a tablet (Asus Z13 flow & surface go 3)

It's not exactly what I would have done, but you can't go wrong switching to Linux on any device if your aim is to tinker and whatnot. I've not done this specifically, but the first concern that jumps to my mind is questionable support for things like the touchscreen. You'd likely need the linux-sur
