Surface Go 1 for $50?
Feedback from a person who just bought a surface go 2 for $80 on Amazon. Pay the extra money if you really want one, I got one because I needed a Windows base tablet and didn’t want to pay a lot of money. I’m not gonna lie. It’s gonna be super laggy and slow. Make sure to get one that is on Windows

Surface Go 2 - tell me what to do?
I bought the version with a keyboard and stylus for this tablet, but it only took me a few minutes after setting it up to decide to return it. Firstly, I can't edit my spreadsheets. I store a few spreadsheets on OneDrive, which I access from my Surface and PC via LibreOffice – my usage doesn't justi

SGO 1/2/3 users, any suspend battery drain?
Microsoft's fault. Surface Go 3 doesn't support deep sleep, so just turn of your device when you don't use it. Though I did notice better battery life on Debian compared to Fedora.

I usually use it wi

Travel laptop/tablet. Which to buy?
surface go is just slow hardware being asked to run bloated software, so yeah you're stuck. if you want windows in that size you're basically looking at more surface devices or waiting for some unicorn product that doesn't really exist at a good price point. android tablet will be faster and have be

Has anyone tried PopOS 24.04 on their surface?
I use PopOS every day on my Surface Laptop 4. It's excellent. I have a backup dual boot Windows, that I use about once per month. Not so successful with my Surface Go 3 as a tablet.

How come no one does laptop tablets like surface?
For old skool UI, yeah its meh. For modern stuff, its great. I've owned a Surface Go 4, and went with the Legion Go 2 instead. First of all, not a single regret. Imho it requires tinkering and tweaking, but Windows 11 even on an 8.8" tablet screen works great if configured well. I'd never return bac
