My apologies, I skimmed over the part where you addressed my exact point. With that being said though, are we looking at the same tablet? These bezels don't seem all that bad to me, especially compared to the Surface Go 3 in the OP's photo. My Go 3 looks dated with specs to match.

I have a Surface Go 3 for ham radio mainly cause it has Windows. It is slow, the Surface Go 4 is supposed to be faster. all opinions and reviews tell that it's absolute trash. Just choose 8/128, the best processors are m3 in Go2, or maybe i3 in Go3, n200 in go4 If you want to do at least something with your surface go for go2 m3 - it will be not very "contemporary" but it would work at least... If not, just buy an iP
