Why Aren't Mathias Boards More Popular?

I really liked the feel and sound of my Ergo Pro, but it had terrible keychatter and occasional missed keys. I'd hit "e" and get nothing at all sometimes, and "eeeeeeee..." others. Their customer service was friendly, but it was out of warranty so I moved on. And they've had a "group buy" for a 60%

Microcenter was selling their last Matias Ergo Pro for around $110. I love my Tactile Pro so much that I decided to jump on it as my first ergo keyboard. 20 minutes in, I am loving it! I am just dreading if the switches start chattering.

I am 2 years into using this keyboard and so far I have had very very few issues. There was a couple of times where a key would keep repeating, but I just had to mash the key repeatedly to fix it. I was quite impressed that its held up so far. But I still fear that the chattering may get really bad.
