Happy Monday

I’ve been loving it! A lot of reviews of the mahlkonig x64 sd says it has problems with clogging but I haven’t had an issue. I got it back in January and have been grinding 3-5 shots a day, every day, since and not once have had issues. Kinda gross, but 4 months in I haven’t done a deep cleaning and

Espresso Series 1 owners, be aware that volumetric mode is turned on by default…

Good lord, I was about to ask to return my machine until I did the fellow support call (with awesomely knowledgeable Kyle!) that helped me set this setting. I was losing my mind and yes, went through a bag of beans tinkering with my grind size, etc. I’m no expert barista, I came from a Breville Touc

Mahlkonig X64 SD

The workflow is almost exactly the same as the Niche Zero, with a couple of differences. Weigh beans, put into grinder. Attachment = bellows, not the hopper I don't RDT (I do with the Niche) Switch on, when grinding finished, switch off Two smacks of the bellows Dosing cup to portafilter, WDT, tamp,

Grinder

I upgraded from a Macap M7 to the Mahlköning X64 SD two months ago and it's really been good. Only bad thing I have to say about it that beans sometimes get hung up on the popcorning shield which is mildly annoying.

My set up is complete!!

The small one is the Mahlkönig X64 SD and the larger one is the Mahlkönig E64 WS. I love them both but I’m really just starting to get the hang of them. The E64 definitely makes a mess. But I think they all do. But it’s great and accurate. The single dose is awesome. It’s compact and I use it for wh

What’s the Best Coffee Machine in 2025?

Bambino and a df54/64 or a Eureka grinder. If you wanted to spend the money and also did pourover/filter I would get the Mahlkonig x64 sd instead. It has some feedback that seems negative but what they are talking about is how its not super crisp and clean like an mp burr but what isn't mentioned is

Stuck in a buyers funk

The only real upgrade other than a fraction in flavor is the quality. You might as well get an electric. It would be double but the mahlkonig x64 sd is a great grinder. That or for the same price as the k a df54 or encore but that would just be for convenience of not hand grinding not an upgrade in

Should I get the Mahlkönig X64 SD or the Eureka Oro Mignon Pro [$1000]

Neither grinder is something I have hands-on time with, so I won't pretend to pick a winner. That said, from everything the community says, the X64 SD has a stronger reputation for espresso consistency at that price, while the grind counter on the Eureka is genuinely useful if you dial in multiple b
