Pico grinder
I have a Pico + Philos. I like them both well enough and I’m honestly a bit puzzled when people say there’s a night and day difference between them. If you’re the type to use your favorite roaster’s medium to medium-dark espresso blend, the Pico is great. Very low retention for an on demand grinder,

La Marzocco Linea micra & Weber Key V2 [No budget]
The LM Micra is a solid machine but there are multiple good pressure profiling machines in that price range. I doubt you would notice the difference in a flat white but going with the Micra means you lose the option. As for the Key, same thing applies. There are a lot of options in that price range

Mahlkonig E64 WS - fluffy, fluffy grounds!
Hmm I would think twice again before diving into the E64 WS. For one, I've seen a few quality issues that they haven't been able to fix - e.g. spraying grounds outside the portafilter. My own experience - the chute is not well-aligned or designed, and without the dosing ring the grounds lump onto th

Merry Christmas to me 😇: Mahlkonig E64 WS
I currently have the Eureka 65 Atom GbW. Yesterday when browsing around I stumbled upon a website with the new e64 WS…. I instinctively bought it with no real research LOL. I am waiting on mine now, and will follow up with some first impressions when possible. I wonder if it has better performance t

Espresso Grinder Recs [$1,600]
Mahlkonig E64 WS grind by weight home grinder. I have the Timemore Sculptor 078s. Hear me out, buy it used…. It would already have been seasoned. Buying it new is not great because it takes FOREVER to season. Also, I don’t like the stepless dial. I bought a magnetic pointer for it in the end.

Merry Christmas to me 😇: Mahlkonig E64 WS
UPDATED 1/16: initially when I unboxed this grinder, the chute was extremely hard to remove, but after doing it quite a few times it comes out pretty easily. You do have to twist it to the left and then pull out. And then you do the reverse to put it back in. Determined the issue with the chute drif

E64 WS - toxic love story
My biggest reservation about the Fiorenzato AGS is that you can never swap burrs to something like an AGS. I am very scared to get the Mahlkonig E64 WS because it is too reliant on software and Eureka Mignon Libra 65AP or the Atom W 65 both use stupid 65mm burrs (not compatible aftermarket burrs lik

Which grinder would you guys recommend.
yes. I saw the E64WS. I dont want to hate the grinder but the quality didnt seem like the price. I wouldnt say it is a cheap china grinder but it doesnt seem like the OG Mahlkönig quality either. I will go with the Mini G.

Mahlkönig E64 WS Arrived Today! Home setup is complete
Thanks. It is a big disappointment that this is happening. I guess this is what I get for compromising on my initial quest for GBW Italian made grinder. I wasn't aware of the Mahlkonig manufacturing being done outside of Germany for the E64 WS. But now I am. lol
