Best portable speaker setup for outdoor parties with the FLX4

There are many options at the moment. Alto TX412B, Mackie Thump Go, LD Systems ANNY, EV Everse, MiniRig, Soundboks, etc. Availability and prices depend on where you live, which one is better might also depend on your goals. Both the Partybox and Soundboks are mostly "party speakers" and their prices

Is anyone using a small backpackable monitor for small events?

I've bought the Mackie Thump Go for this purpose plus house/street parties with friends. I was more inclined for the Bose but didn't find the sound amazing for club style music, I feel it's better suited for vocals/live music. So my options changed to Mackie vs Everse 8. And then yeah, for this purp

Looking for options for portable PA for small/medium protests

The EV Everse line is solid, built in mixer, battery powered, and good output for it's size. They come in 8" and 12" variants. They are quite light(IMO). JBL has some good options, haven't personally used them though. Mackie is the cheapest option I'd recommend, the Thump Go series is very light, ea

Looking to start DJing

I’ve been learning for about 4 months and it was my starter kit. I recently bought a Mackie Thump Go so I could start doing pre-games and small parties. If I was gonna go back I may have just skipped the Yamahas. The sound quality isn’t studio accurate but it’s louder, rugged, and portable.

Best portable speaker for Omnis Duo under €400?

Mackie thump go is great and cheap. Everse 8 is a beast, and worth every penny

What’s a good portable speaker(s) ?

If you have the cash, the Mackie Thump Go speakers are fabulous. I have a pair, I primarily use them at gigs as my "amp rig", but I also just use them for fun when I'm jamming because they sound fabulous, and are battery powered. Best combination of a "real" PA, amp, and portability, and with two of

Speakers for small house parties?

If you’d like it to be portable (small and able to run on a battery) Mackie thump go is a good option. It’s what I have and is plenty loud for a small house party. You could get more bass with one of the 10,12,15 inch models but those can’t run on battery and are less portable. If you really want ba

Jbl Partybox 310 vs. Mackie Thump Go. just DJing dubstep (space bass, wonky) at small kickbacks. which is going to sound better?

A year late to this but I have a pair of 310s and my friend has a pair of Go's. The thumps are definitely louder but the low end is missing. The 310s have much better bass representation as far as house and techno are concerned so im assuming dubstep will fare better with those alone. If you plan on

PA Speaker For In Between Songs

Acoustic guitar amps often have a usable XLR mic input channel, might check with your guitarist to see what they already have. Bose S1 Pro was the first tiny battery powered speaker that really got people talking, it's a 6.5" unit that works for speech for smaller outdoor events where the crowd/back

What is your go to speaker setup for house parties (10-50 people)?

Yall are gonna jump down my throat, but this is a question for small gathering house parties… Mackie Thump Go 8” tops and Mackie ThumpSub Go 8” sub-woofer worked PERFECTLY for the last house party I gigged. 10 people, basement living room, nobody complained about sound quality and it was PLENTY loud
