any suggestions regarding what keyboard to use?
The best way to select a new keyboard is to go to local stores - Staples, Best Buy, or Microcenter if you have one - and actually try the keyboards they have on display. They're not usually connected to computers, so you'll have to just type blindly, but that will give you a feel for the size and sh

Should I buy the MX Mechanical now or wait for a refresh?
Wanna know the biggest irony? I could buy the K5 Max + ABS shine-thru. PBT opaque is a NO GO for me. I have only TWO basic requirements for ANY kayboard. N1: it needs to be wireless and N2: it needs to have backlit keys that are visible in the dark. I've been using wireless backlit keyboards since t

Logitech is wonderful, you just need to release a Linux companion software
ehh piper and solaar plus openrgb work fine for my logitech stuff , i don't miss ghub , it wasn't the best and kept getting worse the more upfdates they made to it for the span of time i had used it between getting my powerplay mat+g502 and g915. i've sionce swapped out the g915 for a keychron that

Please help me find a dead quiet wireless keyboard..
I had Logitech K740 (wired) and K800 (wireless) illuminated keyboards that I loved, but of course Logitech stopped making them. MX Keys is the replacement, but lacks the palm rest and IMO is overpriced for what it is. Cherry Stream is a full-size keyboard that uses the same quiet scissor keys as the

Cherry Stream Ultimate
I'm checking this keyboard out, seems to be the best replacement for the Logitech K800. Otherwise I'll just get the non-ultimate version which is pretty much the same scissor keyboard. I don't need the extra features but backlighting would be nice.

I can't find anything I like enough to replace my dying Logitech K800
I just purchased a Cherry Stream wireless, a user here mentioned this as the closest replacement to the K800 plus it's cheap. Logitech is under new ownership, and quality has gone down since. I've tried most of the new Logitech keyboards, they simply suck. The Cherry is the closest scissor switch ke

Looking for RECS for Full Size 3 Device BT Backlit Keyboard
Try the logitech K800... It's got backlighting and connects to a bunch of devices over Bluetooth. If you’re looking for something else, the Keychron K4 is pretty good for using with multiple devices too. Also, have you looked at keyboardyeti? They have some handy comparisons and guides.

/r/MechanicalKeyboards Ask ANY Keyboard question, get an answer - October 02, 2025
Hey keyboard experts. I'm considering switching to the dark side of mechanical keyboards. For the past 6-7 years I've been using a Logitech K800, which I liked quite a lot. However, these are becoming harder and harder to find, even used, and the MX Keys, which is supposed to be its successor, is no
