Monitor research is driving me insane
I have found Mini LED from AOC to be a decent middle ground. Set the local dimming to LOW or Medium and you get okish contrast with amazing HDR brightness in most viewing conditions. I just leave it in HDR mode as I cant be bothered diving into menus all the time based on the specific content/use. C

Considering to upgrade to PS5 Pro and OLED TV
I did it and no ragrets, not even a single letter. It's a nice to have but not needed. If you've got the funds to do it and not be constrained afterwards then go for it. We've had a spare room not being utilised so decked it out for my wife and I to have a space to chill out. The rest of the house b

Long time coming
Right now is a good time to shop for a new TV. The new gens just released so last year’s models are deeply discounted. LG G5 or C5 is what I recommend. Either is fantastic

Bravia 9 or LG G5 in early 2026
Yeah I would go for the G5 then. If you want to take a picture of your living room I could tell you how bright it is compared to mine haha! But I would definitely say medium bright sometimes brighter sometimes less depending on the angle of the sun. But no direct sunlight and indirect has been no pr

QLED oder OLED, was denn nun?
Mein alter Sony KD-55S8005C h

Thinking of upgrading my S95B. Thoughts?
I just upgraded a tv in my living room which had lots of windows so I wanted something brighter. I got the lg g5 for a great price right when the g6 came out. I think the g5 is a noticeable upgrade over the s95b. It's a lot brighter and colors are more vivid (I only watch in movie/filmmaker modes).
