Is anyone else disappointed in OLED after using miniLED or just me?

Yes. OLED monitors are .. really underwhelming, in my opinion. Especially with HDR, I don't know why but they struggle with maintaining sustaining brightness and they all have very aggressive ABL. If you enjoy serene daytime HDR, the sun peering through the clouds, brightly lit scenes, forget it --

S95H

The 83" S95F/H uses LGs flagship "Primary RGB Tandem WOLED" like on the LG G5/G6, which is much better than your standard WOLED panel.

Nieuwe TV

[Megathread] Why Peak Brightness Matters: The New Standard for HDR Gaming and Content Creation (2026 Edition)

I am not sure where you get your info from I was also given products by LG (although I am NOT a moderator on this sub, I moderate on r/4ktv) They never asked for me to change anything negative I have said about the product. You can look into my post history if that also makes you happy. I don't like

AVForums just reviewed the new LG G6 OLED -- those scores are pretty wild.

I allready written that there is considerable...considerable lower grain on Samsung S90F and even more lower on Samsung S90C. All 3 TV's were 65 inches. On Samsung's TV's pushing Noise reduction really do the trick, but even with that disable both Samsungs that I tested had a smaller amount of it th

Samsung S95F vs LG G5— wallet says Samsung, heart says LG.

S95F beat G5 in HDTVtests shootout for 2025 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxzVqMp73qk It was very close to the Bravia 8 II even and won best living room TV. It's legit a really solid TV and the peak brightness means DV dosen't matter that much. Also if you get a Apple TV you skip the bad TV UI. G5

Considering to upgrade to PS5 Pro and OLED TV

Go with the G5. I wouldn't recommend a OLED without a Heatsink. Those help out tremendously in pulling heat away from the panel to greatly reduce burn-in/image retention during high brightness game play especially HDR. LG G5 or B8ii or S95f/H those have heatsinks. I've had my Sony A90J since 2021 an
