The 285H is still pretty efficient. I can easily get a days worth of real world use out of my LG Gram Pro 17". And I would recommend an LG Gram over anything to basically anyone. Especially a student who will be carrying it around constantly. Being sub 3lbs with a big bright screen is the best. Side

2025 LG Gram - not too hot for lap use?
LG Gram Pro 17 2025 with Intel Core Ultra9 285H and nVidia RTX 5050 has power adapter with only 100W power capacity.
